Archives for November 2014

October was the end of the event season so Pearl and Xavier made there way up to Sal’s for a holiday in the field.

We had some time off as well making our way to Holland for the elite auction which as usual was fantastic; the hospitality, show and horses are always first class.

Two weeks after returning we went to Lanzarote for our annual holiday with our good friends Adam and Matt, to stay with our friends Linda and Hugh. We had a very relaxing time which after such a busy season for all of us, was well deserved.

On a more horsey note, Dancer, Pinky, and  Mungo have made their dressage debut all having a win or a top 3 placing.

Melody had a trip to Leyland Court with Rachel Sheldon and won both the prelim classes on 76%

Mungo has been a real star.  He has been hacked out by Alice and Molly who are two young girls whom I teach and have been for work experience with me. He has also been cubbed by Bo the new part time girl, and Vikki took him to the opening meet.  He has now charmed himself into a new home where I hope he will stay for life as he really was one of the yards’ all time favorites.

The rallies have started again and are as popular as ever, so if any one is interested contact me either by email or text.

We have a lovely homebred coloured mare for sale. Hilldown Pinky is rising five years old with a very level generous temperament.  She is a very calm uncomplicated ride with bags of talent. If anyone is interested please contact me.
