About Trudi Robinson

Trudi Mike and Pearl

Trudi with Leighland Pearl, ridden by Mike Jackson

I started riding when I was five years old; first at Dauntsey on the Sturgis’ grandchildrens’ ponies, taught by the groom Mrs Cocking.  At six years I went to Rockhampton for more formal training and then onto Pony Club and Porlock for qualifications.

I started my yard at 17 (1982) with a huge amount of support from Catherine Brown who bred the Leighland horses and Janet Poldon a list 1 dressage judge.

In 1990 I started training with Dot Willis (see right) and who continues to be a massive support. I am still as keen as ever enjoying schooling, training and eventing.
