August & September

A lot has happened in the past couple of months, I hardly know where to start.

Boycie and Laura won the PC eventing championships with a 26 double clear which was well deserved after all her hard work on the yard and training this summer. Boycie then had a well deserved rest and Laura took Hilldown Mungo back to Stonar with her to broaden his horizons and true to form, he was an angel.

Vikki has been busy cubbing Mungo and Babe and now that eventing has calmed down, the four year olds have had more trips out with Vikki.

Leighland Melody strutted her stuff at Burrows Court area festival coming 3rd in the prelim, therefore qualifying for the Winter Championships at Hartpury.

Hilldown Prophet has redeemed himself by not only having a couple of placings at BE novice but by also winning the gate jumping at Blenheim Horse trials jumping an incredible 1.80m.

Mike had a very successful Blenheim with the win on Prophet and his two other horses booming round effortlessly.

Leighland Xavier has finally accepted his beloved Danni is not coming back and at Gatcombe last week finally stopped looking for her and was looking like he had a partnership with Mike.

Leighland Pearl had a cyst in her eye and had to have some minor treatment to remove it, so has gone up to Sally’s early for a well deserved holiday

The rallies have started again the first one being Sunday 12 October please text or ring me if you want to be added to the list.
