October

October has been a funny month with eventing finishing and a few horses going home we have had time to do a few different things.

Solene and George had a great end to the season with both Flynn and destiny finishing on form.

Flynn

Flynn

Flynn is really beginning to show his true ability not only eventing but winning two BD competitions and being impeccably behaved cubbing and at the opening meet. He really will make someone a horse of a lifetime with his talent and amazing nature.

Hocus

Hocus

Hocus and George made their dressage debut together winning his first ever competition and Melody and Parsley continue to pick up rosettes.

Thistle has now been bought by Jane Lewis which pleases us all as we can continue to see her regularly as  the whole yard is very fond of her and she has quite a fan club.

Robin and I made our yearly trip to Holland to the elite auctions with Adam and Matt and as usual had an amazing time there. This year we were also joined by our friends Anand and Ben who own DD the lovely dressage horse we had at Moor Farm earlier in the year for training.

We have a nice big fun horse in to find a new home for he is a 16.2hh chestnut TB gelding who is much loved by his owner. He is good in all ways and will be hunting this week. If anyone is interested in him please ring or email me no sensible offer will be turned down.

The rallies are back in full swing with 14 horses coming to the first one they will now be every two weeks with the next one on the 16th Nov, please text for more info.
