October

Well the season has ended and the horses have gone away to Sally’s for their annual holiday.  Not to be outdone by the horses, myself and team have also taken well-deserved holidays and enjoyed some non-horsey days.

The rallies have now started in earnest and are proving as popular as ever.  If anyone is interested in joining or just coming to watch, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  Dates of forthcoming rallies for November can be found on the rallies webpage.

Finally my UKCC certificate has come through so it’s now official, I’m a British Eventing accredited trainer.

Some dates for next year…

I am joining up with Adam Kemp and Matt Frost at AM Dressage to run a 3-day eventing clinic.  The clinic will include dressage training with Adam and Matt and jump tuition with me.  The aims of the clinic are for participants to get the best out of their horse on the flat so unnecessary marks are not dropped in the dressage.  Jumping will cover pole work, walking distances, gymnastic work and skinnies, corners and angles.  In addition, the clinic will focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge for both horse and rider.  These include knowledge of rules and regulations, planning for the year, setting short and long term goals that participants feel confident in achieving.

The 3-day clinic will run from 5-7 February 2016.  Please book online via the AM Dressage website, but please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
