May has been an exciting month at Moor Farm not only has the sun been shining, the horses have been going well too!
Mount Ballan was a busy week-end with Pearl having her first run with Mike in the ON. They did a smart test and a double clear. Xavier and Danni did well in the 100 coming 5th with a double clear and Prophet came 3rd in the 90 with a double clear.

DSC05034We then went straight to Tweseldown on the Monday with Pearl and Mike to do the OI where they also jumped a double clear.

The same weekend Laura took Boycie to Stonar to compete in the school horse trials where another double clear saw them finish 3rd.

We have also been busy with dressage with George taking Sid, Xavier and DD to Cricklands affiliated where they all managed to come 2nd in their classes. DD has also had some good results in the Badminton young horse classes.

Fluer a lovely mare who has come into be sold went show jumping with Gemma and won the class, she has an amazing jump and a very sweet nature. The owners are looking for a new home for her, which is very sad as she is much-loved, but needs to be with someone who can do more with her. She is £6k ring Trudi if you are interested.

Gemma also took Choc jumping she came third to Fluer and also has a lovely nature . Choc was bred by Mike Jackson out of an advanced mare but sadly has not got enough scope for Mike, so is also looking for a new home. She has a sarcoid on her chest so is only £1500, but the price doesn’t reflect the quality of the horse.
